The SDP-90 is a high-end, single-phase AC input DIN rail power supply delivering 90 W at 24 VDC in an ultra-slim 2U “step-shape” enclosure of just 36 mm wide and 151 g — certified to IEC/EN 62368-1, UL 62368-1, UL 1310 (NEC Class 2), CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 223, and EMC standards IEC/EN 61000-6-2 and IEC/EN 61000-6-3 Class B. It is certified as a Limited Power Source (LPS) with output limitation per UL 1310 NEC Class 2, making it suitable for use in commercial, office, and residential environments as well as demanding industrial automation applications.
The SDP-90 accepts a wide single-phase input range of 85–277 VAC (47–63 Hz) and DC input from 88 to 370 VDC, delivering a regulated 24 VDC output (adjustable 24–29 V) at 3.8 A rated with an efficiency of 93.6%. It provides 90 W at 120 VAC up to 40 °C and at 230 VAC up to 60 °C with natural convection only. A 150% power boost for 4.5 s handles inductive and capacitive load start-ups, with constant current limiting for safe operation in all overload conditions.
A key differentiator of the SDP-90 is its unique audible noise suppression, making it ideal for distribution boards installed in office and living areas where acoustic comfort is critical. DIN rail mounting on standard TS35 rail (EN 60715) is rated specifically in any orientation, with optional back-panel mounting wings for added flexibility. The DC OK LED, push-in connectors for tool-less wiring, and a design MTBF of 1,800,000 h at 40 °C complete a product engineered for both professional and light commercial installations.
