The DPX-960 is a high-reliability, three-phase AC input DIN rail power supply delivering 960 W at 24 VDC or 48 VDC in an extremely compact 80 mm wide enclosure of 135 × 155.7 mm, compliant with IEC/EN/UL 62368-1, IEC/EN/UL 61010-1, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-2-201, and heavy industrial EMC standards IEC/EN 61000-6-4 Class B and IEC/EN 61000-6-2. Specially designed for demanding industrial automation applications, it features PFC >0.9, active inrush current limitation, extended mains surge immunity of up to 6 kV, and return voltage immunity >35/63 VDC at the output for safe operation with back-feeding loads such as decelerating motors and inductors.
The DPX-960 accepts a wide three-phase input range of 320–575 VAC (50/60 Hz) and DC input from 450 to 815 VDC continuously (850 VDC for 10 s), and is available in two output versions: 24 VDC (adjustable 24–28 V, 40 A) and 48 VDC (adjustable 48–56 V, 20 A), both delivering full 960 W over the entire -40 °C to +60 °C ambient temperature range with natural convection only. A Thermal Power Bonus of up to 1,152 W at 45 °C (120% for the 48V version, 110% for the 24V version) and a 150% power boost for 6 s (plus 250% for 20 ms Easy Fuse tripping) make it suitable for the most demanding inductive and capacitive loads, with an efficiency of up to 97.1%.
A key differentiator of the DPX-960 is its built-in Charging Mode (CC/CV), selectable via DIP-switch, which allows direct battery charging at constant current without any external components. Parallel Load Share mode for 1+n power expansion, phase redundancy (operation continues if one phase fails), DC-OK signal contact, load indication LED, and a design lifetime of >80,000 h at 40 °C complete a product that sets the benchmark for high-power three-phase DIN rail supplies. Tool-less 25° push-in connectors on standard TS35 DIN rail make installation fast and maintenance-free.
