The DPS-240 is a high-reliability, single-phase AC input DIN rail power supply delivering 240 W at 24 VDC in an extremely compact 39 mm wide enclosure, compliant with IEC/EN/UL 61010-1, IEC/EN/UL/CSA 61010-2-201, and heavy industrial EMC standards IEC/EN 61000-6-3 Class B and IEC/EN 61000-6-2. Specially designed for demanding industrial automation applications, it features Active Power Factor Correction (PFC >0.95), active inrush current limitation, and an extended return voltage immunity of up to 50 VDC at the output for safe operation with back-feeding loads such as decelerating motors and inductors.
The DPS-240 accepts a wide single-phase input range of 85–277 VAC (47–63 Hz) and DC input from 88 to 370 VDC with no input voltage derating over the entire range, delivering a regulated 24 VDC output (adjustable 24–29 V, 10 A) at up to 240 W continuously over the full -40 °C to +60 °C ambient temperature range with natural convection only. A Thermal Power Bonus of up to 288 W at 45 °C and a 150% power boost for 5 s make it suitable for highly inductive or capacitive loads, with an efficiency of up to 95% and a no-load consumption of just 1 W.
A key differentiator of the DPS-240 is its built-in ORing diode, which allows direct parallel and redundant 1+1 or 1+n operation without any additional external components — simplifying wiring and reducing cabinet space compared to conventional solutions. Combined with an innovative slim design featuring 25° angled push-in connectors for fast, tool-less installation on standard TS35 DIN rail (EN 60715), a DC-OK signal contact, and a design lifetime expectancy of 273,000 h at 40 °C / 75% load, the DPS-240 sets a new benchmark for 240 W industrial DIN rail power supplies.
