The ACI-3000 is an inrush current limiter with active protection against reverse polarity available as a complimentary accessory for Premium PSU’s DC/AC inverter series: ODS-1500, ODS-3000 and ODX-3000. It can also completely stop the inverter via the ON/OFF input so that only a very small standby current remains.

This device provides the following advantages:

  • It reduces the inrush current to the values indicated in the table.
  • It provides active protection against reverse polarity, so that the DC/AC inverter does not receive voltage or
    overcurrent when the voltage is reversed at the input of the ACI-3000 accessory.
  •  It can completely stop the inverter via the ON/OFF input so that only a very small standby current remains.
