The EPD-500 DC UPS from Premium PSU is a 500 W charger-rectifier (750 W for 10 s) designed for industrial equipment that requires continuous and reliable operation.
It features two galvanically isolated 48 V outputs (10 kV isolation) and manages the charging of 48 V LiFePO₄ and lead-acid batteries up to float charge level. It supports both constant current (CC) and constant voltage (CV) charging methods.
The EPD-500 includes four alarm relays, a CAN port for communication with the BMS, and two Ethernet ports for local or remote configuration and monitoring, as well as an integrated web server, all meeting the most demanding cybersecurity requirements.
It also incorporates a 64-bit dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, and 4 GB of storage.
This charger allows battery testing and temperature monitoring remotely, ensuring optimal battery condition and reliable performance of the system it powers at all times.
